Welcome to Project Yuctan for Christ

Thanks for taking time to view the ProjectYucatan blogspot. We hope that you will stop and visit with us from time to time to keep in touch with what is going on through this project.I started Project Yucatan for Christ in 1980 as an evangelistic tool to reach out to the Yucatan Peninsula with the gospel message. Our initial outreach efforts centered around the systematic distribution of gospels of John both in the capital city of Merida as well as the many pueblos and haciendas that dot the landscape of Yucatan.

Today, Pastor Manuel Verde plays a key role in this project. Pastor Manuel understands the value of this effort as he himself is a product of a gospel of John that was left at his house in 1980. Manuel pastors a church and coordinates the field efforts and ministries for PYFC.

Many years later we are still striving to impact Yucatan with the gospels of John as well as through the use of other evangelistic tools. You will notice as you navigate through this blogspot that we use the initials PYFC to refer to Project Yucatan for Christ.

I invite you to read our next blog which will give the history of PYFC. Thanks for your interest in this ministry.
